Peace Way Christian Center is God's church -there is no need to dress fancy, look a certain way, or have your life figured out before you come to a service. We ask that you come just as you are and let God do the rest! We have all been in your shoes before and we want you to know that YOU are welcome just as YOU are in the House of God!
We believe the power of relationship and the love of Jesus Christ is what changes the hearts of mankind.
Although church doctrine may differ from one place to the next, the belief of salvation remains the same for us all. We believe and know to be true that Jesus Christ died for the sins of all mankind and any one that repents and asks for forgiveness of their sins is automatically washed by the perfect blood of Jesus Christ, forgiven of every sin, becomes a part of the Family of God, and is given a new way of life.
We are part of the Assemblies of God Denomination.
What does this mean?
The AOG (Assemblies of God) believes in 16 fundamentals truths regarding core doctrine. If you would like a breakdown of each fundamental AOG truth with scriptural support, view the "Our Core Beliefs" Box below.
THE SCRIPTURES INSPIRED - The Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man. They are the infallible authoritative rule of faith and how we should conduct our lives.
Scriptural Support:
2 Timothy 3:15-17
1 Thessalonians 2:13
2 Peter 1:21
THE ONE TRUE GOD - The one true God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent "I AM," the Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of mankind. He has further revealed Himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Scriptural Support:
Deuteronomy 6:4
Isaiah 43:10,11
Matthew 28:19
Luke 3:2
THE TRINITY - Identity and Cooperation in the Trinity. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are never identical as to Person; nor confused as to relation; nor divided in respect to the Godhead; nor opposed as to cooperation. The Son is in the Father and the Father is in the Son as to relationship. The Son is with the Father and the Father is with the Son, as to fellowship. The Father is not from the Son, but the Son is from the Father, as to authority. The Holy Spirit is from the Father and the Son proceeding, as to nature, relationship, cooperation and authority. Hence, neither Person in the Godhead either exists or works separately or independently of the others.
